2009 International Quilt Market Trade Show

I was on Cloud Nine last Saturday! My daughter, Samantha and I took a trip to Houston to explore the International Quilt Market Trade Show. It was held in the George R. Brown Convention Center with over 2000 vendor booths. I know we walked many miles that day but we were so excited that I'm sure we were floating around!

We were able to preview all the new lines of fabric, place orders, and meet a few of our favorite designers. I especially enjoyed meeting Lila Tueller and seeing her new Eden fabric collection. I fell in love with this collection and I look forward to having it available in my Etsy fabric shop (www.CottageBellesFabric.etsy.com).

My daughter Samantha and I were partners in an internet business known as Cinnamon Creek Crafts for several years. We enjoyed making a variety of items and selling them to hundreds of great eBay customers. We were able to become Power Sellers on eBay and we created and sold over 1,000 quilts.

We now have new and exciting changes in our lives ~ Samantha and her husband have purchased a new home outside of San Antonio and she has started her own business ~ Buttercup Forrest.

Because of my love of fabric (last count I had over 300 BOLTS!) I have decided to open a new shop on Etsy ~ Cottage Belles Fabric ~ where you will find just the right fabric for your handmade projects.

I've designed a new banner and graphics to reflect the style of our new name and business direction. We hope you'll stay with us during our transition from Cinnamon Creek Crafts to Cottage Belles.
