Planning Ahead for the Toddler Bed

I had fun creating this one-of-a-kind 16 piece nursery set

for one of my Canadian customers

She planned ahead ordering both fitted and flat sheets and pillowcases

for when her child transitions to a Toddler Bed

The custom Picture Frame Quilt blanket she ordered

will last from baby through toddler years

~ The Board is Full Again ~

I've had to stop taking new orders again at Cottage Belles

My sewing schedule is fully booked

I keep a Custom Order board next to my sewing machine  

and whenever the board gets full I know it's time to

"close shop" to new orders.

 

Right now there are 28 custom bedding orders on the board

with 104 items to make by mid October 

My poor sewing machine will be running non-stop

Cottage Belles in Bloom

Even though we haven't had any rain in a very long time

my Esperanza is in full bloom. 

I love the bright yellow bell-shaped flowers it produces every year.

My front yard swing looks a little odd without it's canopy :(

I ordered new outdoor fabric to make a new canopy

but I've been so busy sewing custom bedding sets

and I haven't had time for my own projects

and added shades of Grey 

to create just the look she wanted for her nursery

Hooray! First Delivery of Michael Miller Fabrics Arrive!

I am so excited! I heard a loud thump by my front door and then the doorbell rang.

I opened the door ~ expecting to see a door-to-door salesman. But I found something much more enjoyable!

The first box of Michael Miller fabrics had arrived a day early!

They are so cheerful they make me smile.
